Gatti, we are pleased to introduce you to current peculiarities of the Italian market and to the effects of the macroeconomic cycles and the financial crisis on private equity and restructuring. The BSLFC is excited to introduce you to its Keynote Speakers: • Giuliano Guarino: Director at Lazard Italy. Before escalating his way to directorship position at Lazard, he specialized in Leveraged & Corporate Finance at Mediobanca. Giuliano earned his Master of Science in Finance from Bocconi University. He will contribute to illustrate some key topics focusing on the Italian Restructuring framework, as for: why companies need restructuring and the role of the financial advisor, “where the value breaks” and distressed valuation challenges, and types of debt and financial creditors. • Roberto Quagliuolo: Vice President at Oaktree Capital Management running the operations of the European Principal Group in Italy. Prior to Oaktree, Roberto worked at Lazard in their M&A team in Milan. Roberto received his Master of Science in Management and Production Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano.
